My name is John J2 Mryczko and I am a disabled action sports athlete, designer, promoter, and motivational speaker living with a spinal cord injury..
I have not been disabled all my life, but my life completely changed on June 3rd of 1999 at the age of 19 when I was involved in a high speed motorcycle accident. The impact broke my neck resulting in a spinal cord injury that has left me paralyzed from the chest down.

Before my accident I was involved in action sports for over10 years. Being involved in BMX, skateboarding, and snow boarding since the age of nine my life never had a dull moment. After my injury life seemed to stand still, I was no longer able to participate in the sports I loved and have been apart of for more than half my life. My ability to do the sports I love has been put on hold temporarily. My drive, adrenaline, and action lifestyle still run through my veins. Some days I get bummed because I just want to get on my bike or board, but the only thing I can do is use my power chair as a way to fill my love for action sports.

I try to live normal as possible. I do many things normal 29 year old guys do and more. I work as a graphic designer, but am also a promoter of adaptive action sports. I raise awareness and teach others about spinal cord injuries. I love hanging out with family and friends, but always look forward to meeting someone new. I am always up for having a good time, but have many goals in my life to accomplish. If you would like to know more about me just ask.
